Do y’all remember that show Pinwheel from the 80s? “Pinwheel, pinwheel, spinning around…” I had to google it to be sure I wasn’t making it up in my head. It’s exactly what I remembered! For the rest of you 80s kids, see if this takes you back! I’ve had that in my head the entire time I’ve been working on this invite!!
The Pinwheel Party Collection that will be added to the shop soon! Every once in a while, I get to take on custom orders and this was one of them. Last year, I had the pleasure of working with such a sweet momma on her son’s bow tie party! If you missed it, check out these beautiful photos by Andrea Wood Photography. Thornton’s mommy included so many special touches! You can see the full “Little Gentlemen” party HERE! I can’t believe a year has already gone by! One of my favorite parts of this business is getting to know YOU! I’m so thankful for the loyalty of so many of you!!

Welthan, Thornton’s sweet mommy, desired a two sided pinwheel invitation with the party details on the back. It was fun to create and I love the colors she chose! Very classic! Once we finish the collection, I will load it to the shop. If you need it before then, just yell. Also, please feel free to always ask about available party themes. I receive so many emails that read… “I don’t see it in your shop, but wanted to be sure” I really appreciate those!! I’m honored that you would check with me before moving on to another shop. Often, I can be of help! I have several party collections that have yet to be listed. Always on my to-do list, but you know how that can go. If you see a pinwheel party or baby shower in your future, I would be happy to help! More to come!

Like so many little girls, Eliza loves dress up, playing mommy and tea parties. She is almost always in someone else’s shoes… usually her sisters’ tap shoes or my high heels. It started early and funny enough, “shoes” was actually her first word after “momma” and “dadda”. This year, pulling off a big party just wasn’t feasible, but fortunately, the only thing Eliza requested was a tea party with her best girlfriend, Blayke. Absolutely, I can do that! I sought the help of the talented Casey at Sugar Studios. She created the adorable silhouette and I just LOVE how it came out!

Eliza and Blayke are only one day apart, born in the same hospital and our rooms were just down the hall from each other! Her mom and I are dear friends and our daughters have shared such a special relationship, literally from the very start. Look at the most precious photos captured by Kim Craig Ali Photography. These two just adore each other!

The white dresses were hand-me-downs from my Anna Claire and Julia and I asked Blayke’s mommy to send along her pearls and heels. The girls were sooo eager to get dressed up. It’s easy to forget sometimes that the most simple things can be so exciting to little ones! I wish I had a picture of Eliza’s face when she saw her room. She was so excited! The night before the party, Eliza got to sleep in our bed and I transformed her room after she went to sleep. Timing was perfect as we were sadly taking down her crib, putting away the glider and making way for her big girl bed. We used our Carolina play table and chairs from Pottery Barn Kids. I pulled in Anna Claire’s nightstand for our cake table and we used Eliza’s dresser as our “serving station”. Our Harper Rug is also from PBK. It was a very simple setup, but the girls felt sooo fancy!

The Little Miss Collection includes the following: invite, pennant banner, water bottle wraps, place cards, favor tags, cupcake toppers, welcome sign, flat note, stickers and straw flags. No matter how small the party, I can’t help but still love all the details! My husband just laughs at how excited I get, but it is so fun! Enjoy it while we can, right?

The beautiful cake was made by local baker, Kate Petronis. Kate shares my love for parties and has designed some incredible cakes!! You can see lots more of her work and party ideas on her blog at And Everything Sweet. I found the inspiration for this cake in a random google search and sadly, I do not know where. To the creative mind behind the original cake, thank you for sharing your talent! I hope our take is a compliment to you! I apologize for not being able to give correct credit where credit is due. Kate did an awesome job and of course, it was sooo delicious! The whole “too pretty to eat” does not stand true in our house! We had a family party that night and dug in!

After we dressed up, the girls were ready for their “tea cake”. On birthdays, I let them completely spoil their meals so we ate cupcakes first. You can see Eliza was not keen on sharing. She took her time, yet the rest were ready to nibble hers as seconds! That face!
I only set the table for Eliza and Blayke, but the big sisters really wanted to be part of the fun. We decided Anna Claire and Julia could be the waitresses and they just LOVED that idea!! I set up Eliza’s dresser as a serving station with drink pitchers, napkins, snacks and their boxed lunch. The white gable boxes came from Smash Cake & Co. I dressed it up with the silhouette sticker and polka dot ribbon from JoAnn. The snack containers were filled with yogurt and can be found in the Sweet Peach shop. The pink striped napkins came from the Target party aisle and matched perfectly.

For the favor, I bought these white boxes at Michaels and filled them with some girlie fun…. pink nail polish, pink lip gloss that looked like lipstick (they loved that), and some play jewelry.

After lunch, the girls just played… squealed, scooted around in heels, laughed and played! It was a simple celebration, but so sweet! I’m sooo thankful I had Kim Craig Ali Photography come over. She captured some of the most precious pictures that I will absolutely treasure! My little Minnie Pearl…

I wish this picture was a video! I would love to remember what they were laughing about! Something extremely silly, I’m sure, but they do have the cutest giggles together!

Happy 3rd Birthday to our dear friend, Blayke! {We sang to both of them!} You have such a sweet, tender heart, Blayke!! We are so thankful for you and your precious friendship!

And Happy 3rd Birthday to my my most precious, Eliza! You absolutely brighten our family! Your spunky personality, contagious giggle and 3 going on 13 conversations bring us so much laughter! I am so blessed to be your momma!

All printable supplies for the Little Miss Collection are available in the SHOP. If you are desiring professionally printed invites, please see pricing and info HERE.

Happy New Year!! Wow, 2014! It’s exciting to think of what the new year holds! 2013 was a really great year for Sweet Peach! I’m so thankful to have Lauren, my orders assistant, join me as we move into the new year. She was definitely a highlight of 2013. Lots of new collections were added, many which still need to be revealed. I’m learning more and more each year and continue to enjoy this journey!

Julia and Anna Claire went back to pre-school today and our wonderful break has officially come to an end. I’m actually the mom that did not want to send them back. We enjoyed our vacation so much, but it is back to the routine for all of us! I’m excited to share with you a beautiful party that took place over the holiday. Meet this sweet and southern little gentleman, Thornton!

Thornton’s momma wanted a classic southern party for her little gentleman. We worked off the Preppy Nautical Collection with revisions to the colors, added wide stripes and a bow tie as the theme. The color requests were navy, gray and cranberry and I just love how they came together! Andrea Wood Photography captured the party details so well. Andrea is a very talented Atlanta photographer for those local. Thornton’s momma did such a beautiful job!! I’m honored that Sweet Peach was able to be a small part of it. Happy First Birthday, Thornton! You are a little southern gentleman from head to toe!
The bow tie cake and red velvet cupcakes came from a local Atlanta baker, Sugar Bends Bakery in East Cobb.
Even the gingerbread men were dressed for the occasion! I also love the bow ties added to the aprons!

If you have a need for a preppy cookie, Terri of Sweet Goosie Girl is your lady!  She created the anchor cookies for our Preppy Nautical Party and I have been hooked ever since!
The party favor was a gift card for a Chick-fil-a lunch, an Atlanta founded favorite!

Every southern party needs sweet tea and check out those beverage napkins!

How adorable is this family!  I love when a daddy is willing to participate in the fun!  Beautiful momma with her matching gentlemen…

Happy Birthday, Thornton!  I’m so glad you had a special day!  You are ONE!

One of my favorite parts of this business is getting to know YOU! I love building relationships with loyal customers and sweet Maggie’s momma is one of them! I’ve had the pleasure of working with Paula over the last couple years and love watching her adorable family grow. Sweet Maggie is now turning four and a gymnastics rainbow party was the request! The new Rainbow Collection is available with either circles as shown or stars. Maggie’s party collection uses stars throughout to tie in the gymnastics theme. I look forward to sharing that party with you later this year! Until then, take a look at the new invitation design. It is bold, yet simple, clean and crisp! The Rainbow Collection will be added to the shop soon!

I love all the candy corn treats and party ideas that have been floating around Pinterest! Last year, I designed a new Candy Corn Invitation to go along with this fun theme. If you are planning a fall party, this is a great one with so many creative ideas! The candy corn krispie treats are by Glorious Treats and the candy corn meringue cookies are by Make Bake Celebrate. Both include recipes and tutorials.

Anyone else holding tight to the last days of summer? I always get a little sad when it comes to an end and the long days shorten. I also really, REALLY love summer!! I recently revised the Ice Cream Parlor Collection for the sweetest owner, Krista of Hoopla Events. She held an “End of the Summer” celebration and invited friends over to their lemonade stand. Although I don’t have pictures just yet, the Lemonade Stand Collection includes all the coordinating items. You can find the invitation in the shop HERE!
Earlier this summer, we held our first lemonade stand with cousins while at the beach. It was so fun to see the personalities of my little girls at work. Julia and Eliza tried to sneak sips of lemonade and nibble cookies while Anna Claire waved in the cars. She was so serious about her job and VERY sure every dollar was accounted for. She was particularly not pleased with her sisters eating the inventory! My husband and I got the biggest laughs out of their personalities at work! We used a simple cardboard stand that my sister-in-law found at Michaels. The girls colored it and really enjoyed making it their own. Seeing how much they loved it, we may hold another lemonade sale before the summer officially ends! So much fun!

2012 has been quite a year for Sweet Peach Paperie.  In May of 2011, I opened my etsy shop in hopes that I could keep busy by simply selling the printable files.  Before Eliza was born, I offered full printing services on every single order.  Yes, whew!!  I  knew I could not keep up with such demand as a momma of an infant and two toddlers.  I was worried that the shop may not transition well, but wow, Sweet Peach Paperie has grown this year in such incredible ways!  Thank you so much for following along this journey with me!  With every single order, I can truly say I am honored that Sweet Peach Paperie was your choice.  As I have been reflecting on the year and making goals for the next, I thought it would be fun to share the top 5 party collections of 2012.

And the top selling collection of the year…

It’s been a sweet year and  I am even more excited to see what 2013 holds!  Happy New Year!
