Do y’all remember that show Pinwheel from the 80s? “Pinwheel, pinwheel, spinning around…” I had to google it to be sure I wasn’t making it up in my head. It’s exactly what I remembered! For the rest of you 80s kids, see if this takes you back! I’ve had that in my head the entire time I’ve been working on this invite!!
The Pinwheel Party Collection that will be added to the shop soon! Every once in a while, I get to take on custom orders and this was one of them. Last year, I had the pleasure of working with such a sweet momma on her son’s bow tie party! If you missed it, check out these beautiful photos by Andrea Wood Photography. Thornton’s mommy included so many special touches! You can see the full “Little Gentlemen” party HERE! I can’t believe a year has already gone by! One of my favorite parts of this business is getting to know YOU! I’m so thankful for the loyalty of so many of you!!

Welthan, Thornton’s sweet mommy, desired a two sided pinwheel invitation with the party details on the back. It was fun to create and I love the colors she chose! Very classic! Once we finish the collection, I will load it to the shop. If you need it before then, just yell. Also, please feel free to always ask about available party themes. I receive so many emails that read… “I don’t see it in your shop, but wanted to be sure” I really appreciate those!! I’m honored that you would check with me before moving on to another shop. Often, I can be of help! I have several party collections that have yet to be listed. Always on my to-do list, but you know how that can go. If you see a pinwheel party or baby shower in your future, I would be happy to help! More to come!

I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! We spent a couple days in the mountains with family and it was such a nice getaway! This week, I’m now preparing for a diaper shower in honor of one of my dearest friends. She is expecting her second baby boy in just a couple of weeks so we are re-stocking her changing table. It was really fun to work with some BOY colors for a change! Navy and Kelly green are one of my favorite color combos for the little guys. I even scanned my hubbie’s Polo shirts for a preppy stripe pattern. I’m designing the rest of the decor this week and look forward to sharing this new collection with you soon!

A couple weeks ago, a customer purchased these adorable invites from Tiny Prints.  Love them!  I just wish I would have designed them myself!! I love the colorful stripes and safety pins.  I love how perfectly the theme works for gender neutral showers and all the boy/girl twins.

My sweet customer desired a full coordinating collection so with great inspiration, I set to work.  Using the stripes and safety pins througout, I also added my own twist on the collection with some fun fonts and the adorable stitched alphabet by Sugar Studios.  The night I was working on the collection, Sugar Studios posted her cute letters as a freebie.  They worked perfectly so I grabbed the set, put it to use and voila!

More to come!

I gave a little peek last week, but here a few more fun details from the Mod Giraffe Baby Shower Collection. Thank you Holly Kittle Photography! Nothing like being the photographer of your own shower! This gray and yellow collection was inspired by some great prints… that turned into a fun dessert table… You can create your cake bunting with a pom pom maker or better yet, purchase one from the designer herself at Jill Made This! Jill is one crafty gal! She created the most perfect touch to a classic all white cake. If you are in the Chattanooga area, this delicious cake came from Piece-A- Cake in Collegedale.Coordinating napkin rings, food tents and water bottle wraps are all available with the Mod Giraffe Collection. Love the gray and white striped straws and the adorable G was a paper mache letter wrapped, wrapped and wrapped in yarn!!
Old fashion lemon candies were given as favors to match the gray and yellow theme. Each guest wrote a note of advice on coordinating flat notes to the momma-to-be!
And how cute was this gift?! Monogrammed onesies and burp cloths to match for Miss Evie Claire and Mr. Graham. Congrats to my dear friend Holly! She is now the proud momma to a sweet baby boy and precious little girl. Welcome Evie Claire and Graham! We are so glad you are here!

I am working on a fun new collection for my dear friend Holly’s BABIES shower! She is expecting a little guy and little gal in the new year! Since she chose to use giraffes as her nursery decor, we decided to carry that through her babies shower theme. Modern grays, yellows, chevron prints, mini polka dots and lots of pattern. The shower is a few weeks away so I’ll have lots to show you once we celebrate!

> Last summer, I designed a whale collection for a baby shower and recently, it has become very popular again. I think it’s because of Pottery Barn! :) Whenever they design a new bedding collection, I seem to get lots of requests for that same theme. The whale theme for the boys is light blues and navy, but here is something fun for the girls too. One of my customers even requested this very cute wording…. “She’s sweet and bubby and waves of fun, our little squirt is turning one!” So cute and officially stolen! I Love it! >The Little Red Wagon collection is becoming quite the versatile invitation! A recent customer desired the pennant banner style, but needed a sailor themed shower for her future grandson. With a couple color changes and a sailboat, the Little Sailor Collection came to be! A nautical themed party would also make a great spring or summer birthday if you have a little sailor at your house ! Favor tags…
