Happy Friday!! I’m excited to share my 2014 Christmas Collection with you! I can’t promise that a card or two won’t be added in the coming week, but I’m forcing myself to post today. It’s so easy to just keep going and going with Christmas cards. I have so many ideas dancing around in my head, but unfortunately, I don’t have as many hours to bring all of them to fruition. Designing is timely, but a fun process. Yesterday, I spent almost all day in my pjs, listening to Christmas music and eating the girls’ Halloween candy as I worked away!

I hope you will enjoy these sweet new cards that I have created for you! You will find ordering info at the bottom of this post along with a fun BONUS for early shoppers!  I know there are so many places you can purchase your holiday cards. Please know that I am honored when you choose to support a small momma business like my own. Thanks so much y’all!!

This year, I have added the option of coordinating envelopes with each card style. I did this for myself last year and LOVED how beautiful it turned out! Cute and one less step! The perfect combo!  You can see each of the matching envelope designs listed with the cards in the SHOP.  The background on this design is called “black velvet” so it prints softer than a traditional solid black ink.

The larger cards were definitely the favorite last year. I used the same style for our family card and loved it too. You get a 5.5 x 8.5 card for the same price as a 5×7. Pretty great!! If you have a desire for custom wording, please ask.

Both the Monogram Oval and JOY cards are available in the larger 5.5 x 8.5 size as well.
Who is ready to be an early shopper? Please let me encourage you!

For all those who place their order by November 24th, I will include 12 FREE cards!

For those who can order by November 17th, I’ll include 20 FREE cards!!

All card pricing is listed under the Services tab.  If you would like to order the coordinating envelopes in place of the standard white, each professionally printed envelope is $0.50. To place an order, you can email sweetpeachpaperie@gmail.com or send a message via the contact box. A paypal invoice will then be sent. If you prefer a digial file for self printing, all printable cards are listed in the SHOP.  If you have any questions, please reach out. Thank you to my sweet customers for being such beautiful models along with Andrea Wood Photography and Kim Craig Ali Photography!

It used to make me crazy when stores would put out Christmas decorations and start the music in October…. or if you are Hobby Lobby, July!!! I well understand all the crafters have to prepare very early for holiday business. I start thinking about Christmas card designs in September and October myself. Now with children, my time is soooo much more limited that I have started shopping early as well. Instead of losing Halloween and Thanksgiving by thinking ahead, I feel like I completely gain it. I have only succeeded one year, but let me tell you, it was the most wonderful feeling!!! I set the goal of being completely finished with Christmas shopping by December 1st. {With exception to our tradition of taking the girls shopping for each other}. I was able to focus on the true meaning of Christmas- the birth of Jesus!! – and enjoy the season fully with our family. Now, all of this is coming from a girl who has been shopping on Christmas Eve and wrapping presents at midnight waaay too many times to count. It’s a serious challenge for me to work that far ahead, but I’m getting better and have three little ladies that provide great motivation!! Anna Claire and I had a big shopping day a few weeks ago and had the best time together!! If I had all three with me, it wouldn’t have been enjoyable at hour six…. or hour two for that matter. Yes, we shopped for 6 hours and loved every minute of it. Just being together, one-on-one made it so fun! Special snacks, getting to hold my hand non-stop and all the little talks that come with being on a date. We found some sweet gifts and I wanted to share one that I just love. Are you familiar with Stacy Brown Designs? She makes the most adorable hand painted personalized bracelets. I’ve bought them for others and they are super cute! One day, I will actually buy one for myself too! She has sooo many designs, color combos, patterns and styles. Stacy Brown also sells monogrammed purses, frames and so much more! To see all the possibilities, be sure to check out her beautiful shop! I hope you can find some special gifts for your loved ones this year. Join me in shopping early (this post is my accountability!!). Let’s take away the stress of Christmas and put the meaning back in it!

November is almost here and the emails about Christmas cards are rolling in. I’m working on a few new designs that I will share the first week of November. If there is anything particular you are hoping to see, be sure to let me know. Last year, the larger white cards were definitely the most popular!! So loved that I will be adding to that collection for this year. It was my favorite too! I used the larger style for our family card and loved it! What’s awesome…. the 5.5 x 8.5 cards are the same price as our 5×7 cards! Coordinating professionally printed envelopes will be an option for all new styles this year as well! I loved the clean look, ease and one less step when addressing. This was our family card from last year…

If you love coordinating Christmas PJs as much as I do, be sure to visit Castles & Crowns. Our pajamas were my first purchase from Castles & Crowns and I was so pleased!! The girls really loved them too! They are very soft and comfortable! This year’s style is white and so cute! Find it here! Smocked Overstocks also carries the red stripe Christmas pajama with a candy cane. TODAY only they are on SALE so be sure to check those out at Smocked Overstocks. If your little girls like gowns instead, Smockadot Kids has some striped monogram nightgowns and classic pjs available for pre-order at a really great price! Both red and green stripes are available as well and matching boy and girl pjs. I’ve ordered from Smockadot Kids as well and have been pleased! They make for a really cute Christmas card picture and you’ll love them all season! I have to figure out which ones I’m ordering for the girls this year!! Be sure to check in the first week of November for our 2014 Christmas Collection!

Do y’all remember that show Pinwheel from the 80s? “Pinwheel, pinwheel, spinning around…” I had to google it to be sure I wasn’t making it up in my head. It’s exactly what I remembered! For the rest of you 80s kids, see if this takes you back! I’ve had that in my head the entire time I’ve been working on this invite!!
The Pinwheel Party Collection that will be added to the shop soon! Every once in a while, I get to take on custom orders and this was one of them. Last year, I had the pleasure of working with such a sweet momma on her son’s bow tie party! If you missed it, check out these beautiful photos by Andrea Wood Photography. Thornton’s mommy included so many special touches! You can see the full “Little Gentlemen” party HERE! I can’t believe a year has already gone by! One of my favorite parts of this business is getting to know YOU! I’m so thankful for the loyalty of so many of you!!

Welthan, Thornton’s sweet mommy, desired a two sided pinwheel invitation with the party details on the back. It was fun to create and I love the colors she chose! Very classic! Once we finish the collection, I will load it to the shop. If you need it before then, just yell. Also, please feel free to always ask about available party themes. I receive so many emails that read… “I don’t see it in your shop, but wanted to be sure” I really appreciate those!! I’m honored that you would check with me before moving on to another shop. Often, I can be of help! I have several party collections that have yet to be listed. Always on my to-do list, but you know how that can go. If you see a pinwheel party or baby shower in your future, I would be happy to help! More to come!

This summer, I shared a few of these beautiful photos on the Sweet Peach FB page, but am excited to finally share more! I had the pleasure of working with the SWEETEST bride as she planned her Preppy Nautical wedding on Chesapeake Bay. So fun!! The photography is by LizandRyan.com and event styling by lemon and lime event design. From the original Preppy Nautical collection, I replaced the sailboat with a monogram anchor, simplified the invitation and created her collection in coral, navy and a few touches of green. From the invitation set to the welcome baskets and throughout the bayside reception, I loved seeing our collection in so many details…

This creative bride had so many fun ideas! I love how she put the Preppy Nautical favor tags to a new use!

Do you recognize those anchor cookies?  I discovered Sweet Goosie Girl when I was planning for Eliza’s Preppy Nautical Party and have loved her ever since!  I was excited to see this sweet bride felt the same way!

I’m unable to share a photo of the Preppy Nautical Wedding Invitation as C+G desired to keep those details and their identification very private.  However, you can see a sample with revised details in this previous blog post.  I love how it came together with the RSVP card and informational enclosure.  The bride was so cute with her fun wording!

C+G, it was such an honor to be a small part of your very big day! Your creative touches came together in such a beautiful and fun way! Congrats to you both!!

It’s pretty much impossible for me to go to Target without checking out the dollar bins. Wow, I think today may have been one of my best finds ever…. just a couple months too late. If you are planning a black and white party in the near future, be sure to check out the Target dollar bins asap!! Look at the all this cuteness! And this was just the beginning! Striped straws, black polka dot plates and napkins, white and black favor bags, coasters, labels, stickers, ribbon, mini buckets, and the list goes on. It’s all marked as holiday in the Halloween bins, but sure looks like the makings for a Little Miss party if you ask me!! The same straws and ribbon are sold in other parts of the store for three times the price! Kinda crazy! Grab your black and white goodies! Happy Wednesday!

I’m asked often where I buy my milk bottles. Mine are actually recycled Starbucks Frappuccino bottles! They have worked perfectly for me and give great purpose for indulging in my guilty pleasure! I always thought the ones in online shops were way overpriced. If you want to find them locally, Michaels now carries them. I spotted them this week and they are on sale for $0.99! This is an even better deal than my thrifty recycled bottles!! They read “Dairy” and have a cute cow on the glass. They would be absolutely perfect for a farm party! If you don’t love the wording, you could easily cover it with a water bottle wrap.

A reader shared on the Sweet Peach FB page that you can also find them at Ikea. Another fan suggested they would make cute vases with some flowers and burlap ribbon. Love that idea! I could see them lined on the center of your fall table. So cute!
